MARCUS KALLIONIEMI

MARCUS KALLIONIEMI (SWEDEN)

Hi, I have been coaching tennis here in Hong kong since 1994 and came to Repulse bay Club 1996. Over the years I have had the privilege to coach people of all different levels as well as ages.I have had people who just wanted to learn the game just for fun as well as people who have focused on playing competitively, both categories has been equally fun and challenging.I am certified from Europe's largest coaching organization RPT and have thousands of coaching hours behind me. Learning proper form is high on my agenda but I also know that sometimes just plain practice will do the trick. I am the founder of this coaching company and will do my best that you and your tennis are in good hands here at Grand Slam Sports.

Best regards, Marcus

ALAN YIP

ALAN YIP (AUSTRALIA)

Hello, I am passionate about my tennis. I love to play it, read about it, watch it and I especially love the privilege of helping others to play it. Having served in many different roles ranging from Club coach to National coaching team, my experience has taught me to appreciate the different approaches which is required for different players. I have coached in a number of countries including Australia and Hong Kong and hold advanced coaching qualification in both. My coaching philosophy is simply, all lessons should contain Physical, Psychological, Technical and Tactical components. However, the Social component should not be neglected. I have always said "The great thing about being in my profession (Tennis coach) is that every so often, I can really convey what a great game "Tennis" is to someone and in doing so, enjoy great moments on and off the court with those who share the passion. I hope we can share a few great moments in the near future."

Best regards, Alan
